Our food tour of Pike Place continue with some piroshky. We originally wanted to go to Cafe Yarmarka, but they were not open when we got there, though they stated that they would be. So we defaulted to here.

  • Rosemary Chicken Rice and Mushrooms Piroshky- The problem was the crust was a bit soggy. If the exterior retain that crispiness then the pasty would be so much better, Another problem was that the chicken and rice mixture was a little too fine. We thought it would have been better to have the rice texture with the chicken and the mushrooms. Maybe that is a personal preference issue.

Decor: Very small counter space to sit. Enough room for just too, most of the space is occupied by the display as well as the kitchen.

Overall Assessment: ($, 2/10) – Not a fan of the crust nor of the stuffing. The smell of the bakery was great, if only the taste could have matched the smell.. The crust did have a great flaky feel if only it could match with some form of crunchiness.
