I am attending a conference that is being held the whole week here.
- Caesar Salad – Wierd creamy sauce, did not go well with the lettuce. The croutons were a bit soft. Also they have slices of mozzarella cheese instead of shredded cheese. Not a huge fan.
- Chicken Breasts with Orzo and Vegetables – The skin of the chicken breast had a really nice flavoring to it, however the rest of the chicken was bland. The orzo was a bit overcooked. Also too bad my wife made orzo yesterday that was infinitely better then the yellow chicken flavor orzo. It came with shredded carrots and baby broccoli. That was crisp and nice.
- Ice Tea – Tasted like instant ice tea.
- Lemonade – A bit too sweet, tasted almost like another instant creation.
- Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Bars -Oh how cheap can you be? You serve a fancy plated dinner then tell people to pick up ice cream bars in the exhibit booths?
Decor: First they didn’t have enough seats for the people who were attending. Secondly the service was slow, probably cause there was a speaker during the lunch and they wanted to let him finish. Service was ok but kinda abrupt. I was asking for help to find a seat and the wait staff was ignoring me.
Overall Assessment: ($$$$, 0/10) – Another bomb for hotel food. The wife and I were discussing this today. Why would anyone want to host a wedding in a hotel. It’s expensive and the food isn’t that great. No offense to anyone who has booked a hotel for their wedding.
