Wife working late and I had to fend for myself. I decided to go have some artery clogging goodness since well she usually frowns upon such things.

  • Cheese Fries -I love their cheese fries. It’s the best I’ve had in my opinion. Well maybe other than the self serve ones at Fuddruckers. But I digress. I love the blend of Monterey and Cheddar as well as the bits of bacon and the onions. Though today the onion was grilled longer than usual and turned out black instead of brown.
  • Swiss Onion Mushroom Burger – Kinda hit the spot for me. Though I never understand why burgers are so freaking expensive. The melted swiss covered the grilled onions and mushrooms. I got the burger medium, the center was a bit more red than I would have liked but it still was good.
  • Parsley Redskin Potatoes – Honestly boiled red potatoes with olive oil, salt and parsley. Simple yet satisfying (especially with all the fried foods)

Decor: Sports Bar setup. TV’s adorn everywhere. They have individual tuners on each table so you can watch your own show. I think they try to employ local kids. I’m fine with that. They usually do a half way decent job of training them. The takeout counter usually goes pretty quickly as well.

Overall Assessment: ($$, 6/10) – If you’re in the mood for good old fashioned greasy bar food, come on down. If you are looking for gourmet, this is not the place to be. Whenever I’m in the mood to pig out and abuse my heart, this is the place to go for me. Prices are a little more expensive than bar food but the taste is good enough reason for me to pay it.
